How checking works: we hash the exact record text (SHA-256), and OpenTimestamps anchors that hash in a Bitcoin block. If anyone edits the record, the hash changes and the check fails. To verify a record yourself, run verify_capture.py on the files. This shows only that the record has not changed and existed by that date. It does not prove the AI will give the same answer again. We don't ask you to trust us. Check it yourself.
